It's like arm wrestling! - DoubleStar ARFX AR-15 Skeleton Stock

I have bought a LOT of DOUBLE STAR stocks over the years, and all are decent products. What makes these skeleton stocks a bit of a challenge is installing the foam sleeve. It does NOT come with a rifle length buffer tube, so try an find one that has a super slick finish. I ordered four of the stocks for pending OD Green builds, and noticed that all of my tubes had a matte finish. I soaked the foam sleeves and kept the tubes wet and still had a heck of a time! The best analogy I can give is, installation is like installing a tire on a rim by hand...Also, the color of the foam sleeve is not OD Green...Not bad, but not OD Green. These two issues are probably why they were on sale at half price. All said, I would probably buy them again...Light weight and looks cool!
